Character Spotlight: Beowulf, a TL3 mythical warrior

I AM BEOWULF!

Driven by the pursuit of glory and fame, young Beowulf is a mighty warrior eager to carve his name in the pages of history. Both powerful and agile, he leads his band of Geatish warriors across Scandinavia seeking to the most perilous challenges so their names will be remembered forever. 

This version of Beowulf is  based on the Wrestler template from

Pyramid #3-111, with a few modifications. As the name suggests, he's a master wrestling, boasting exceptional Wrestling skill and the Wrestling Master trait, which allows him to treat his arms as weapons when parrying and grappling, making those much safer. I've modified it to extend these benefits for unarmed strikes as well. He can also bring much more strength to bear when using Wrestling, to the point that his effective ST for that purpose is an impressive 24 - he can go toe to toe with much bigger foes!

Apart from the Wrestler template, this character sheet is built only the Basic Set, but keep in mind that with such high levels of Wrestling, many techniques from Martial Arts become very attractive!

While he's no pushover when it comes to weapons and is adequate in terms of acrobatics and general physical feats, there's definitely room for improvement here. 

This young Beowulf is capable, but yet unproven - his legend still in the making. He has yet to face Grendel, but before that, many other monsters roam the wilderness of Scandinavia - who knows what lies in the darkest crevices of ancient forests?
